Scott has been involved in the construction industry since the early 1980’s working in large infrastructure construction projects throughout Australia including:

Leighton’s Construction in the Mackay region involving bridge construction and concrete projects for a rail expansion from Nebo to Hay Point.

Sub-contracting to the Mackay Water Board installing water pipe infrastructure.

Installing concrete foundations for electrification towers for the rail electrification project in the Mackay region with Citra Constructions.

Major concrete construction of airport taxiways with Thiess and Leighton Constructions at the Brisbane and Perth International Airports and the RAAF base located in the Kimberley region.

High rise construction in Brisbane.

Tilt slab industrial construction located in Maroochydore.

Scott has been involved in the building industry for the past 15 years in termite control to existing buildings and installing chemical and physical barriers to new buildings.

In 2000 Scott began a cadetship to become a building surveyor. He was accepted into Central Queensland University and began work as a cadet building surveyor with two private companies located in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. During this time Scott was involved in all types of residential, commercial and industrial building inspections and certifications.

Scott became the Director of Q-Cert Pty Ltd in May 2010. Scott prides himself to offer a quality building surveying service operating in all areas of Queensland.
